Virtual Currency & In‑App Purchases Policy
Applies to zestifyworld.com and related games/services. Effective: 10 April 2026.
1) Definitions
Virtual Currency (e.g., coins/credits) and Virtual Items are digital features used only within our service. In‑App Purchases are optional purchases of Virtual Currency/Items or access entitlements.
2) No monetary value, no cash‑out, no transfer
- Virtual Currency/Items have no monetary value, are not legal tender, and are not a stored value facility.
- They cannot be redeemed for cash or real‑world goods/services, and we do not offer cash‑out.
- They are non‑transferable: no selling, gifting, trading, or external marketplace transfers unless we explicitly enable it in‑service.
3) Licence only; no ownership
Virtual Currency/Items are provided as a revocable, limited licence to access in‑service features. You do not acquire property rights. We may modify, revalue, limit, or remove Virtual Currency/Items (including due to balancing, safety, legal, or operational reasons), subject to applicable law.
4) Pricing clarity (anti‑misrepresentation)
- Prices are shown before checkout in NZD (or your store’s displayed currency) and may include GST where required.
- Bundles may show bonus amounts; any “discount” comparison is based on our then‑current standard pricing within the same store/service.
- We do not represent Virtual Currency/Items as having real‑world monetary value.
5) Payments, billing, and authorisation
In‑App Purchases may be processed by third‑party platforms (e.g., Apple/Google/console or payment providers). Your purchase is subject to the applicable platform’s terms, including billing descriptors and dispute processes. Keep your account credentials secure; you are responsible for purchases authorised from your account.
6) Refunds, cancellations, and chargebacks (New Zealand)
- Change‑of‑mind: refunds are not guaranteed for digital items once delivered/credited, unless required by law or a platform policy.
- Your NZ consumer rights: where the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 applies, you may have rights for remedies if content/services are not provided with reasonable care and skill or do not match description. The Fair Trading Act 1986 prohibits misleading conduct.
- Platform purchases: if you purchased via an app store/platform, request refunds through that platform first; their decision may control the outcome.
- Chargebacks: unauthorised or fraudulent chargebacks may result in reversal of credited Virtual Currency/Items, account restrictions, or recovery actions, to the extent permitted by law.
7) Promotions and expiry
Bonus Virtual Currency/Items (including promotional credits) may have conditions, limits, or expiry disclosed at the time of the offer. Earned or purchased balances may also be adjusted if credited in error or obtained through a breach of our terms.
